Shed to Summit was born in a 19th-century chalet d'alpage, above the Chamonix valley in the French Alps. Nicknamed The Shed'. It was the starting point for many incredible adventures, often to a nearby mountain summit and perfectly captured the vision that Kev and Natasha had when founding the company.
Shed to Summit's mission is share the mountains, and support our clients to have mountain adventures and experiences. We seek to remove 'obstacles' such as worries about mountain skills/safety, limited local knowledge of an area, the hassles of dealing with access and accommodation.
Over the years, we found that our "Shed" was not big enough to accommodate or share our adventures in both a unique and commercially viable manner, so we made a huge decision to relocate to the French Hautes-Pyrénées, where found our perfect long-term base for adventure.
Now based in the Campan Valley, in our renovated 18th Century Barns, known as Les Granges des Hautes-Pyrénées, we have great access to the most stunning mountains and trails of the Pyrénees. The opportunities for adventure here are limitless, offering similar technical challenges to the Alps, but in a less developed environment that feels more wild and remote.
With Shed to Summit's team of qualified International Mountain Leaders, years of mountain experience, local knowledge and priority access to authentic accommodation, we aim to help people fulfil their dreams of adventure and deliver unforgettable life-long memories along the way!

Kev is a life-long mountain sport enthusiast and loves nothing more than exploring new terrain and environments. An IML who is renowned for his ability to conjure up imaginative and remote routes with complex (but seamless logistics) to deliver extraordinary adventures.

Cam is an accomplished mountain man; an IML with several years of leading treks across the European Alps and Pyrenees under his belt. He is also an alpinist, ski tourer and trail runner, so brings a wealth of experience to our trips. Two of his favourite destinations are the French Pyrénées and the nearby Spanish Picos de Europa - mainly for the exquisite scenery, wildlife and history of the areas.

Natasha is a talented athlete. Previously representing New Zealand on the track, she turned her attention to the trails after moving to Chamonix and now being based in the Hautes-Pyrénées. She excels in both uphill running and ultra distances and is often found on the podium at races. Natasha is a Fell Coach in Running Fitness and is working towards her International Mountain Leader qualification. She is the only one fast enough to run logistical support operations for Shed to Summit!
